Title: Intro to Entrepreneurship

Speaker: Jermaine Brown

Description: Many people think entrepreneurship is glamorous. Truth is, entrepreneurship is hard. Really, really hard. While it can be an incredible experience – the opportunity to build a better future, being in control of who you work with and how you work while experiencing the direct connection between effort and results, you must be prepared for the journey. This class will be all about starting off and what to expect.

Bio: Jermaine is an entrepreneur based in Atlanta. He founded CCAW Automotive Group, a B2C automotive e-commerce company, and bootstrapped the company to over $10M in annual revenue. Prior to that, Jermaine worked for Ernst & Young’s (EY) advisory practice. Jermaine is an Atlanta chapter member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO), an advisor to entrepreneurs at Atlanta Tech Village and a prior member of Fedex’s E-Commerce Board of Directors. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Jermaine earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance from Louisiana State University. Jermaine shares his thoughts regularly at JermaineBrown.org.
