Rescheduled for February 10th. Get tickets here!
Before the our Founder Story session with Rachel McCrickard, founder of Movtio, we will be doing a little virtual networking with IceBreaker.Video. You will get paired with 3 different people and have 4 minutes to network with each of them. There are fun questions you can ask if you run out of things to talk about but who knows, you may meet your new business partner or best friend!
Rachel McCrickard is the Founder/CEO of Motivo and is also a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. In order to become a licensed therapist, Rachel needed to withstand a weekly two-hour commute to Atlanta where she completed her required clinical supervision hours over the course of two years. That experience gave her a front seat view into the geographic boundaries that preclude mental health professionals from serving rural areas. Rachel was galvanized to take action. Motivo is the first HIPAA-compliant video platform that connects pre-licensed mental health therapists to clinical supervisors. Motivo is a member of Atlanta Tech Village, a graduate of the 2018 Techstars Atlanta cohort and has raised over $2.5M in capital to date. Motivo was recently featured in Forbes Magazine. You can read all about Rachel and her story in this blog post.
Ladies of Atlanta, it’s time to come together to make the phrase “Women in Tech” obsolete! Join us as we openly discuss personal and professional growth, challenges in the workplace, community involvement, and whatever else is on your mind. Our Village can be the one to make women in tech the status quo.
Second Wednesday of the Month
12:00pm – 1:00pm
To empower women in tech through a kick-ass network, intentional teaching & purposeful community because it does take a village.
Our goal is to make to Atlanta the number one place for “women in tech” (because clearly it’s not Silicon Valley).
