Kimberly Siva will present Swift Playgrounds for Everyday Tasks.
Swift Playgrounds are a powerful tool for a wide range of development tasks, from gaining an in-depth understanding of UIKit to developing animations and algorithms. They are also a great starting point for learning the Swift programming language. In this talk, Kim will introduce Playgrounds and walk through a number of use cases that explore how Playgrounds can (and should!) become an everyday part of your iOS development process.
Kimberly Siva has been developing iOS applications since 2008. She has a Master's in Computer Science from Georgia Tech, where she specialized in mobile augmented reality. Kim worked for Qualcomm on the Vuforia AR platform in its formative years, both as a developer and lead developer technical support. Currently Kim is busy raising her 2- and 4-year-old kiddos, and writing apps whenever she finds a chance!
After Kimberly's presentation, Joseph DeCarlo will moderate.
