ATV Workshop - From Idea to Impact: How to Build a Talk That Lands (Part 1)

Join Atlanta Tech Village Advisor & Certified Leadership Coach, Britt Hunter, for an interactive workshop on how to build a talk that lands.
Great talks don’t start with slides - they start with clarity. In this interactive workshop, participants will learn a simple, repeatable framework for building talks that are focused, memorable, and designed to drive action.
The session begins with an overview of how to build a talk from the ground up, including several proven story frame options participants can use depending on their goal, audience, and format. From there, founders will roll up their sleeves and build the skeleton of their own talk in real time - defining a clear core message, mapping their narrative, and outlining a strong call to action. Participants will capture their framework (yes, take a picture!) so they leave with something tangible they can return to and refine.
The workshop will also cover the three most commonly used, and most effective, call to action prompts speakers can embed into their talks to move audiences from inspiration to action. We’ll close with open Q&A, giving participants space to pressure-test ideas, get feedback, and leave feeling confident about what they’re building.
What you’ll walk away with:
- A clear framework for building a compelling talk
- Story structures you can reuse across pitches, keynotes, and presentations
- A draft outline of your own talk
- Practical CTA prompts you can immediately apply
