About the Hosts
A seasoned Nurse Practitioner, Dr. Shadé Reid is the co founder of Halos Angel Investor syndicate, founded Frontline Health Innovation with Bryanna Marshall RN, and founded HealthCares Group, where she offers consultancy and fractional services.
She is now the Platform Lead for Hometown’s (your neighborhood family office) Comprehensive Life platform. With extensive healthcare and tech experience, she champions underrepresented founders and equitable, sustainable community-building in health and health adjacent tech.
Justin Dawkins is the co founder of Halos Angel Investor Syndicate and Managing Partner of Hometown Equity Partners, your neighborhood family office. He also co-founded and was Managing Partner at Collab Capital.
During his tenure, Justin co-created the SPACE agreement, successfully deployed $51 Million to 37 companies, and led portfolio support for the firm. The SPACE, a profit-sharing instrument, is designed to increase optionality for founders while diversifying returns for limited partners.
Before Collab Capital, Justin co-founded Goodie Nation. While at Goodie Nation, Justin assisted in the launch of 30+ social impact startups. As a board member, he helped organizational leadership build programs and processes to connect over 400 students, professionals and startups across the United States to the resources,opportunities and networks needed to maximize their likelihood of success.
Additionally, for over six years, Justin served as Georgia’s Google Digital Coach, coaching over 5,000 small businesses on areas such as digital marketing, analytics, capital readiness, team building, and operational management.
