This workshop introduces a unique alternative to traditional goal-setting that honors the organic rhythm of the seasons. Theresa M. Ward of Fiery Feather will guide participants through individual reflections and connection prompts to help participants identify sources of energy and opportunities for getting unstuck. Attendees will be able to share and connect with other like-minded women throughout the breakout session.

About the Facilitator
Theresa M. Ward spent more than a decade in the financial technology space, thriving in roles from sales to brand management to product innovation (and is credited as an inventor on a patent). While serving in those various positions, Theresa was often asked to build and lead the training for that role. So after fully embracing her superpower as a facilitator and educator, Theresa founded Fiery Feather in 2017, where she now conducts keynotes and workshops on meta-skills such as self-awareness, persuasive communication, and navigating change. As her content is highly relevant to teams in every industry, Theresa has coached and trained over 5,000 individuals across Non-profits, Tech startups, Restaurant chains, Healthcare, and more. Her recent TEDx Talk on the power of embracing mistakes to optimize growth was selected as an early 2026 Editor's Pick.
Theresa studied Interpersonal and Organizations Communications in undergrad, and is trained in ORSC (Organizational Relationship Systems Coaching) and Design Thinking. She is passionate about creating conditions where any human can learn and grow. When she’s not on stage, you can find Theresa fly fishing with her fiance in the North Georgia Mountains, teaching yoga, or curled up on the couch with a good book and her senior dogs by her side.
About the Women + Tech Meetup
Description:
It’s time to come together to make the phrase “Women in Tech” obsolete! Join us as we openly discuss personal and professional growth, challenges in the workplace, community involvement, and whatever else is on your mind. Our Village can be the one to make women in tech the status quo.
Mission: To empower women in tech through a kick-ass network, intentional teaching & purposeful community because it does take a village. Our goal is to make to Atlanta the number one place for “women in tech” (because clearly it’s not Silicon Valley).
