There are more than 70 million freelancers working in the United States. As a startup founder, this workforce represents endless opportunities for your company to...

- Massively increase productivity

- Reduce the costs associated with hiring FT employees

- Avoid lengthy FT hiring processes and get the support you need faster

- Access a diverse pool of talent with a wealth of specialized knowledge

- Keep your team flexible so you can pivot when needed

But let's be real—just like anything else, outsourcing work to freelancers can come with its own set of challenges. In fact, hiring freelancers is a skill in and of itself, and it takes time to learn. In this workshop, Haley Davidson will help you avoid the mistakes most people make when hiring freelancers, so you can get the results you want and find the people you need, faster.

Haley will also share practical processes to help you find, hire, and successfully work with freelance talent. From tracking down the right person to accurately defining a project's scope of work, you'll be prepared to find your freelance match by the end of this session.

About the Women + Tech Meetup

Ladies of the Village, it’s time to come together to make the phrase “Women in Tech” obsolete! Join us as we openly discuss personal and professional growth, challenges in the workplace, community involvement, and whatever else is on your mind. Our Village can be the one to make women in tech the status quo.

Mission: To empower women in tech through a kick-ass network, intentional teaching & purposeful community because it does take a village. Our goal is to make to Atlanta the number one place for “women in tech” (because clearly it’s not Silicon Valley).

This event is hosted in partnership with Folks Events.
