Women + Tech Meetup: International Women's Day Celebration + Giveback to the Period Project

About the session:

Join us for a special edition of our Women + Tech Meetup where we will be celebrating International Women's Day for lunch and a service project in support of The Period Project. We'll have lunch and complimentary headshots for guests of the event!

A Packing Party is a casual fundraiser that supports the Atlanta Chapter of the Period Project. A period pack is a small bag containing a minimum of 15 products for an individual to use during their menstrual cycle. These packs serve menstruators who are housed, unhoused or under-housed, as well as schools, shelters, essentials pantries and community relief organizations on an as-needed basis.

During these our February and March events, we will be accepting:

• Ultra-thin pads (highest need)
• Feminine Hygiene Wipes
• Tampons
• Panty Liners

If you can't attend in person but want to contribute, you can send things directly through the Period Project's Amazon Wish List.
