Women + Tech Meetup: “Slay” the Stage: A Confidence & Performance Workshop

Confidence isn’t something you perform, it’s something you embody.

In this high-energy, insight-filled workshop, entrepreneur and former performer Marie Hunter invites women in tech to rediscover their confidence through connection, clarity, and self-expression. Participants will learn how to use a Stage Name, a powerful identity that reflects their boldest, most aligned selves to elevate how they lead, pitch, and show up in every room.

Through storytelling, reflection, and interactive exercises, you’ll explore how what you feel on the inside shapes what you project on the outside. Expect laughter, lightbulb moments, and lasting inspiration as you design your next-level identity and step into 2025 ready to Slay the Stage—with confidence, alignment, and authentic power.

About the Facilitator

Marie Hunter is the CEO of KRG Fuel + Energy and the Founder of BeautiFuel, a business empowerment ecosystem. As of February 2024, KRG received an award
for its recent growth coming in at #16 on UGA’s top Bulldog 100 list for fastest growing companies. KRG is one of the only few female, minority owned and operated fuel companies in the country. Our mission is not only to provide excellent customer service that exceeds above and beyond our competitors, but to also create alternative fueling solutions and products for our customers. KRG operates with a driven purpose to give back to our community, our environment, and even more importantly to create opportunities for female empowerment in a male dominated industry. KRG is an alumni of 10KSB ( Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses) which was a featured business at the 2022 Summit in Washington DC. She also serves as a mentor for the Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women Business Program, where she has mentored a variety of businesses across the
country. KRG is also a member of WBENC, Women's UPS Export University, and Women Executives in Energy (sponsored by BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, and Shell as well as a judge and mentor for The Blox, the largest competition TV show for start ups. Marie Hunter is also an alumni of the University
