While running Blackfire Systems, AJ met his now co-founder (then client), John DeLaurier, a roofing contractor in Athens, GA struggling to find reliable software to automate and grow his roofing business. John and AJ partnered to build the next generation of roofing business management and automation software, launching ProLine in 2021. AJ taught himself no-code/low-code software development to build ProLine's MVP, and remains the company's CEO and technical co-founder, leading a remote-first team of 40+ employees operating across the globe. Since 2021, ProLine has raised over $3m and positioned itself as the fastest-growing CRM platform in the roofing space, growing its userbase and recurring revenue by over 3x in 2023, 2024, and 2025 (projected).
