Celebrating our 6th It Takes a Village Pre-Accelerator Cohort
We are so proud to have continued this year with a powerhouse It Takes a Village Cohort: our phenomenal Cohort 6! With over $163,000 raised in capital, 2 product launches, several paid pilots with customers spanning from Atlanta to New England, these startup founders brought the entrepreneurial heat this autumn. Our Cohort 6 startup’s were based in the subscription, SaaS, interior design, academic and social impact space. We can’t wait to showcase them all to you on their Demo Day. Register here, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
Hear from the Founders how things are going:
“We were really excited when we found out we were accepted, from the outside we saw the buzz and enthusiasm that was generated from this program. As a company stationed in New England, we wanted to take a peek into the entrepreneurial world and educational opportunity into the southern network. With Atlanta Tech Village, we have been able to define messagings our value, regardless of the customer. As founders, you are ambitious and reach for the clouds, they were constantly challenging us and helped us become more decisive. We are grateful and cannot wait to see you at Demo Day!" - Joel Nkounkou, Founder of ecoText
Our team’s diversity and inclusion initiative emphasizes the importance of supporting diverse perspectives and inclusive work environments in technology. The It Takes A Village Pre-Accelerator is becoming one of nations most prestigious programs for pre-seed startups led by women and people of color. This 16-Week program is designed to prepare underrepresented founders to successfully get to the next level which is defined as gaining traction by acquiring paid customers, receiving a seed investment, and/or earning a spot in an accelerator program. By providing an inclusive community for these diverse group of founders, we believe providing direct access to community, curriculum, and capital will help build and grow the next generation of sustainable startups and diversity in tech. Our applications for Cohort 7 go live on November 10th. Stay Tuned! – You don’t want to miss the amazing things in store for this group.
